Indo Canadians are a growing population in Canada. Trade between India and Canada is on an increase and both Canadians and Indians are beginning to recognize the importance of global cooperation an trade. With India and Canada both being among the top ten largest economies in the world, the interests of Canadians of Indian origin and Canadians having an interest in India are critical for business, professional and personal growth. India is already one of the largest producers of scientists, doctors, lawyers and several all other professionals in the world. Canada is a recipient of this talent.

The Indo-Canada Ottawa Business Chamber (ICOBC) is eager to inspire and enrich Indo-Canadian entrepreneurs and professionals in Canada or in any part of the world or Canadians doing business with India or Indians doing business in Canada or Canadians with a special interest in India.

ICOBC is the probably best link between Ottawa entrepreneurs and professionals and Indian businesses for their mutual benefit .We are here to promote business and professional interests and the social economic development of both Canada and India. ICOBC will serve not only members who are seeking to expand their business strategies and professional careers, but also Indian companies that wish to connect with and explore business opportunities in all sectors of the economy.

ICOBC is a premier, privately funded, not-for-profit, member-based organization with members from the Ottawa business and professional communities.

The objectives ICOBC include:

Promoting and facilitating trade and commerce between Canada and India and Indo Canadian business activities world wide.
Providing members with a forum for networking, sharing ideas, information and experiences in order to promote mutual business success.
Creating learning opportunities through seminars, workshops and conferences.
Recognizing the contribution and achievements of Indo-Canadians at our Annual Awards and Gala Night
Promotion of the interests of Indo Canadians within the political, social and economic fabric of Canada
